Stella Savvidou, (ΒΑ Εconomics and Social Sciences Mancester University,ΜSC Sociology,University of Bristol) after completing her studies in economics, social sciences and sociology, works in social welfare services.
Her work dealt with violence and neglect in families and children.
From 2017-2022, she worked at the Central Prisons as a Welfare Officer supporting defendants/convicts. She was also responsible for preparing socio-economic reports for the Court.
Mrs. Savvidou has received a five-year training in systemic psychotherapy with an existential approach and became a member of the Pancypriot Association of Psychotherapists of Cyprus.
Shee has been practicing the above professions privately for the last 5 years.
Mrs. Savvidou has received certification for film therapy and since November 2020 she is also a mindfulness accredited teacher, teaching the 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program both on an individual, group and corporate level with excellent results. Shee has recently completed training in mindful eating.
She is a health coach, and she is in the process of being certified as an executive/life coach as well as a clinical hypnotherapist (smoking cessation, panic attacks, anxiety, weight management). She has recently completed a 12-month program in couples counseling and therapy.
She is a regular speaker at various organizations such as KPMG, LOUIS GROUP, University of Cyprus, G. Petrou Pharmaceutical Company, Psaltis Spare Parts and Lefkaritis Group.
