Dr Floris Stylios, MD, CCT, MPhil, PhDc

Dr Floris Stylios is an Honorary Assistant Professor in Psychiatry at the University of Nicosia Medical School and is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Psychiatry at King’s College London.

He holds an MD, a PhDc, a certificate of completion of training (CTT) in General Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (Cyprus, UK, Greece) and a Postgraduate certificate of completion of training of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in UK. He was trained and worked at the Maudsley Hospital in London ( Kings College London), in various positions for 8 years.

Dr Stylios is a member of the British Medical Association and the General Medical Council (UK). He has published a number of articles in scientific journals and presented various academic journals and posters, both at the Institute of Psychiatry and International conferences. His special research interest is in neuroimaging of psychosis, as well as functional psychological disorders. He has worked in the Psychological Medicine Department at King’s College London, UK offering consultations and proposing therapeutic approaches for somatoform disorders, including work related stress disorders with psychosomatotic  anifestations.
